Professional Development Day (PD Day) is when our teachers come together to learn from experts and grow as one community of elite educators. This year’s program was filled with inspiring talks, practical workshops, and fun activities—all designed to spark creativity and empower teaching.
The day began with an inspiring keynote session by Mr. James Rhee, titled “Lessons on Leadership, Agency, and Purpose for Today’s Schools.” His talk perfectly aligned with this year’s theme “EMPOWER”.
✨ Morning sessions offered teachers the chance to dive into specialized training:
Backward Design: Lesson Planning – Dr. Đỗ Đức Lân
Empowering Minds with AI – Ms. Vũ Thanh Loan
Assessments for Learning – Mr. Max Smalley-Smith
🌟 Afternoon workshops continued the momentum:
Teaching Smarter with AI – Dr. Nayak Abhishek
Managing Stress In & Outside the Classroom – HEI Family Center
Active & Inclusive Teaching & Learning – Ms. Nguyễn Đức Ân

This Professional Development Day was more than just training—it was a meaningful opportunity for our teachers to sharpen their skills, embrace innovation, and strengthen bonds with colleagues.
