RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES 

1. Manage the School Bus Service 

● Coordinating/supervising groups to pick up and drop off students on the bus at the pick-up and drop-off area; 

● Work with relevant departments to update bus-related data. (Control the problem of absent children / children, supplement and update bus records...); 

● Check the number of students getting on/off the bus before going to class or getting on the bus; 

● Solve problems arising to the bus; 

● Coordinating/supervising drivers and monitors at student pick-up/drop-off points; 

● Manage the drivers’ and monitors’ working attitude and punctuality; 

● Instruct, train, supervise, check the process, regulations for transporting students by bus once a month for Monitors; 

● Time management / implementation of monthly attendance for bus monitors; 

● Coordinate and train back-up staff to support Monitor (when any arise); 

● Ensure that the buses are clean and safe; 

● Inform the parents about picking-up and dropping-off time; 

● Report the number of students taking the bus daily to the Registrar & Head of Department; 

● Report the students’ disciplines on the bus: getting on the bus late, having inappropriate behaviors on the bus (talking too much, fighting, eating on the bus, ..); 

● Comply with the school's bus pick-up/drop-off procedures and regulations. 

2. Manage the School’s Canteen 

● Budget planning and cost estimates related to the company operating the kitchen on a monthly and yearly basis;

● Coordinate with the menu itself (quantity and cost) in meals for Students and Teachers; 

● Work with suppliers to perform unscheduled inspection of food goods; 

● Manage kitchen team, schedule supervision; 

● Compare meals, confirm debts with suppliers & send information to accountants for accountants to issue invoices to parents; 

● Control budget and report food expenses of students and staff to the Head of Department; 

● Receive questions from parents on issues related to the kitchen and provide information to manufacturers to give feedback to parents; 

● Update the menu for students weekly and send it to the Customer Service Officer

● Update report: three steps check the book, food source; 

● Working with state agencies on food safety inspection and other related issues; 

● Looking for other vendor for backup; 

● Perform other tasks related to the position of responsibility.

1. JOB SUMMARY:

A Math Teacher is responsible for teaching, preparing materials & arranging schedules, organizing activities, tests or assessments relating to Math; as well as ensuring the quality of classes and assessments. He/she is also required to join the tasks of the Academic Team, contribute and generate ideas to the general teaching. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Collaborate with Lead Math Teacher to make budget plan, academic plan and budget using plan; 

Collaborate with Lead Math Teacher to build up the Academic Year’s plan for Math Team & Academic Team & personal plan; 

Prepare materials, lesson plans, teaching plans with specific learning goals relating to Math for students;

Teach, manage and take care of students during your classes;

Organize teaching and learning activities to develop students' learning capacity; Create new teaching or learning methods to help students achieve their best results;

Update class’ status and students individually (if any) on Learning Management System of the School;

Organize Math assessments or tests to evaluate students' learning effectiveness and proactively adjust teaching methods;

Complete the academic reports assigned by the Principals; 

Complete academic materials based on requirements from the Ministry of Education & Training and Department of Education & Training;

Prepare materials and join mutual meetings or 1-1 meeting with parents of your class; 

Be on duty to supervise or manage students on required by the School;

Participate in training sessions required/organized by the School; Actively participate in training and professional development activities.

Build respectful, cooperative relationships with Parents and Students;

Support teams/colleagues in professional activities;

Participate in school activities and events;

Other tasks as required by the Academic Team, Board of Principals and Board of Management;

WHAT YOU OFFER US

POSITION OVERVIEW  

The PE coordinator is responsible for organizing innovative games and challenges that promote physical activity among all students at True North School. The goal is to develop motor skills, physical development, proper exercise, and eating habits among all students. The teacher must be knowledgeable about healthy life practices and use every day relevant situations to teach these practices, must be creative and resourceful in using school space and various resources to provide physical activities, and be flexible and engaging as an instructor for students from multiple grade levels.  

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES  

• Participate in designing PE curriculum with specific objectives which strengthen TNS pillar of fitness.  

• Develop a plan of professional activities for the school year: Specify appropriate targets and measures feasible (based on the schoolwork plan and program development plan).  

• Prepare teaching materials, daily student reports, final assessment reports, and unscheduled reviews; Monitor students’ learning track.  

• Participate in after-school fitness/wellness clubs, supervise duty and support other teachers as assigned by the Administration.  

• Search for the competitions, provide extra lessons/activities, and support students to achieve the best result to improve their fitness level.  

• Participate in evaluating the students’ performance and conduct meetings with parents.  

• Attend workshops for enrollment, create experiential classes and design school events throughout the school year.  

• Participate in sharing new teaching ideas to share with colleagues in group/ grade meetings, in order to build a defined fitness and wellness school culture for students, faculty and   
  parent communities.  

• Perform other duties as may be assigned.
