On the basketball court, Nghĩa is a fearless captain. On the marathon track, he is an unstoppable warrior. In community initiatives, he is a pioneering advocate for the environment. And in academics, he consistently sets an example of excellence.

Lưu Tiến Minh Nghĩa is not just a familiar name in TNIS’s thrilling basketball matches but also a presence felt throughout the school’s hallways. His face appears on posters rallying for donations, announcements for community projects, sports events, and academic achievements. With his unwavering dedication, perseverance, and leadership, Nghĩa has made a lasting impact across multiple domains.
🏀 A LEADER ON THE COURT
Under Nghĩa’s leadership, the TNIS basketball team clinched the WHSL Basketball High School Division Championship, wrapping up an unforgettable season with a flawless 10-0 record. More than just an outstanding player, Nghĩa is a commanding captain who unites teammates of all ages, fostering a strong and resilient TNIS squad.

🏃♂️ CONQUERING MARATHON MILESTONES
Beyond the basketball court, Nghĩa has left his mark on some of the most challenging marathon tracks. As the Captain of IronTeen, he has led over 170 runners through grueling races in Mẫu Sơn, Hạ Long, and Hanoi, collectively completing an incredible 2,005 km—a remarkable feat for a 17-year-old.
♻️ A PIONEER IN ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTS
As House Captain, Nghĩa spearheaded the Zero Food Waste Project, which has been running for the past two years, engaging 4 Houses and 10 classes. The initiative aims to enhance food security, reduce waste, and support underprivileged communities through donations, contributing to a more sustainable food supply chain. On March 18, Nghĩa’s project partnered with VietHarvest, successfully donating 165 kg of food to charitable organizations such as Phúc Tuệ Center, GLC Donation, and more.

🌏 ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE
Through relentless effort and determination, Nghĩa has secured a $1,500 scholarship for the GCI Fellowship 2025 at the University of St Andrews. This prestigious program will enable him to collaborate with young global leaders and work on the “Glocal” Service Project (GSP), addressing global challenges within local communities.

📚 ACADEMIC MILESTONE TO CELEBRATE
Nghĩa’s excellence extends beyond extracurricular activities—his outstanding academic performance has earned him a place in Cornell University’s Summer 2025 Pre-College Studies in the U.S. This remarkable achievement is not just a well-deserved reward for his dedication but also a gateway to world-class international education opportunities.

Minh Nghĩa’s journey embodies perseverance, responsibility, and ambition, setting a standard for excellence in both academics and leadership. He is a role model who not only excels in sports and scholarly pursuits but also drives meaningful change within his community. His achievements thus far mark the beginning of a promising path, paving the way for even greater accomplishments and inspiring others to strive for their own success.
