Ending the first semester with style, Grade 4A and 5A students embarked on an inspiring project that brought Vietnamese history and geography to life through presentations, performances, and creative models.
Students built a historical timeline from the earliest periods, starting with the Au Lac State, followed by key figures and movements such as Lady Trieu, Ngo Quyen, the Lam Son Uprising, and Le Lai’s heroic sacrifice—highlighting Vietnam’s enduring journey of nation-building and defense.
Beyond presentations, students re-enacted historical events through drama. Class 5A showcased Le Lai Saves the King and An Duong Vuong’s Magic Crossbow, while Class 4A portrayed Northern feudal village life and explored landmarks like the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long and the Temple of Literature.
The project also featured ethnic costumes, models of traditional Vietnamese houses, collected ancient artifacts, and handmade old houses using craft sticks—demonstrating creativity and interdisciplinary learning.
This project helped students deepen their knowledge while developing confidence, teamwork, presentation skills, and a strong sense of pride in Vietnam’s cultural heritage.
