This summer, Ngọc Vy (12I) proudly represented Vietnam as one of only three Vietnamese girls selected for the fully-funded TechGirls 2025 Exchange Program by the U.S. Department of State.
During her 24-day journey, Vy got to:
✨Connect with 119 girls from 38 countries who share a passion for STEM and innovation.
✨Join a 10-day Environmental Science course at Virginia Tech, conducting hands-on river research on sediment and contamination flow.
✨Travel to Austin, Texas for a community immersion, living with a host family and gaining real-world experience through job shadowing at Google and Oracle.
✨End the program in Washington, D.C., visiting the NASA Goddard Space Center and learning from inspiring women in tech.

This incredible experience not only deepened Vy’s passion for Environmental Science but also gave her a global network of future innovators. Again, congratulations to Ngoc Vy for inspring us all!
