At True North International School (TNIS), the Advanced Placement (AP) Program has long been a hallmark of academic distinction, embedded in the school’s identity since its earliest years. Achieving perfect scores in AP exams is no longer a rare accomplishment—it has become a standard of excellence, first established by TNIS’s inaugural AP cohort and consistently upheld ever since.
From year to year, TNIS students maintain and elevate this tradition, with average AP scores consistently surpassing both Vietnam’s and global benchmarks. This enduring record of success is a testament to the quality of our curriculum, the dedication of our faculty, and the exceptional academic abilities of TNISers.

In the 2024–2025 academic year, TNIS students completed 96 AP exams, achieving an impressive average score of 4.1/5—well above the global average of 3.14 and Vietnam’s average of 3.71.
