As part of the Social Studies project “Luminescence: Honoring the Legacy of Our Predecessors”, our Grade 8A–11A students engaged in a meaningful learning experience this morning through watching the trending movie “Mưa đỏ”.
But the journey didn’t stop at the cinema—students are divided into groups, each focusing on a unique perspective of the movie and its historical context:
📜 History & Culture: Research and compare the 81-day battle of Quảng Trị in 1972.
🧠 Psychology & Sociology: Analyze war trauma in film characters and connect to real-life post-war experiences.
📈 Marketing & Business: Study the film’s strategies and propose new ideas for commemorative products.
💻 Design & Technology: Suggest innovative applications (games, VR, apps) to bring history closer to youth.
🎬 Literature & Film Criticism: Compare adaptations and evaluate artistic storytelling.
🎭 Art & Society Criticism: Decode film metaphors and discuss public debates sparked by the movie.
🗺️ Geography & War Spaces: Explore Quảng Trị’s strategic location and its potential in education and tourism.
Through this project, our students not only learned history but also connected it with psychology, business, technology, and the arts—transforming a film experience into an interdisciplinary journey of discovery.
