A refreshing day at Tuệ Viên Organic Farm brought our International Primary students from Grades 3I, 4I & 5I closer to nature and sustainability.
During the visit, students explored an organic farming model, identifying seasonal crops and learning how plants, soil, water, animals, and humans are all connected. Walking through the garden in the autumn–winter season, our young explorers used all their senses to truly feel nature.
Hands-on activities made learning come alive! From collecting organic waste to observing and practicing composting, students discovered the circular agriculture model and understood biomass as a form of renewable energy. Tiny microorganisms generating heat during decomposition suddenly became a fascinating science lesson!
More than a field trip, this journey nurtured teamwork, critical thinking, and most importantly, a love for nature and environmental responsibility, making TNISers global citizens!
