TNS Ambassadors attended the WFUNA International Model United Nations—WIMUN 2024 in New York! Our students, numbering an impressive 19, embraced the challenges and opportunities presented, pushing boundaries and expanding their horizons.
The five-day conference featured working sessions where TNS student delegates interacted with their peers to discuss solutions for urgent global concerns. In order to make partnerships and exchange interpersonal experiences with students from various backgrounds, they also participated in social activities and cultural performances.
Amidst the nerves, especially for our first-time participants, our students were encouraged to take initiative, lobby passionately, and strategically position themselves for success. It's inspiring to witness many breaking out of their comfort zones and evolving as individuals and diplomats.
We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our TNS Ambassadors at WIMUN 2024:
- Best Large Delegation | High School
True North School - Best Position Paper
Nam Khanh (Delegate of Ghana) | First Committee of the General Assembly - Diplomacy Award
Duy Vu (Germany) | World Health Assembly
Jennifer (USA) | Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice
Ngan Anh (Nigeria) | Commission on the Status of Women
Congratulations to all participants and awardees for their outstanding contributions. The TNS community eagerly anticipates more triumphs and growth in future competitions.
