Organized within each classroom, the event not only engaged students but also received enthusiastic support from parents. Every class added its own creative flair, yet all came together in a festive atmosphere rich with cultural tradition.
At the ground floor lobby and in classrooms, students participated in various fun and educational activities that captured the Mid-Autumn spirit:
🍰 Making traditional mooncakes
🏮 Crafting lanterns
⭐ Creating star-shaped lanterns
💌 Making heartfelt cards in the cafeteria
🍡 Making sticky rice cakes
🎨 Painting statues
In addition to the hands-on crafts, TNISers had the chance to explore the cultural significance of the Mid-Autumn Festival. They engaged in a Q&A session about the festival’s history, including tales of Chị Hằng and Chú Cuội, and sampled iconic autumn foods from Hanoi, such as green rice (cốm). The students also learned about how the festival was celebrated in ancient times and even tried traditional Korean Mid-Autumn dishes.
This year’s celebration was not just an opportunity for students to create beautiful handmade crafts, but also a moment for the entire TNIS community—students, parents, and teachers—to come together and embrace the richness of time-honored cultural traditions.
Wishing everyone a joyful and memorable Mid-Autumn Festival!
