POSTION DESCRIPTION
The Academic Social Emotional Counselor is directly responsible for the psychological assessment of academic, social, emotional, and behavioral domains utilizing problem-solving and standardized evaluations. This position monitors the completion of case study evaluations and participates in Individual Education Plan (IEP) conferences and problem-solving meetings designing systems, programs and services that maximize students’ social, emotional, and educational success. In collaboration with staff, families, students, and communities the school psychologist promotes effective educational environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. School Psychologist
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy per IEP requirements.
- Monitor completion of case study evaluations and participate in IEP conferences and problem-solving meetings.
- Lead crisis intervention efforts and provide insight into the development of functional assessments and behavior intervention plans.
- Integrate psychological services into the classroom environment as appropriate.
- Contribute to program development that furthers the integration of social, coping, and problem-solving in the classroom.
- Screen students for potential psychological issues and make recommendations for treatment plans based on this screening

POSITION OVERVIEW
Oversee the design and development of the school’s overview curriculum and detailed curriculum for all subjects, in accordance with the BOM’s intent and purpose.
To lead and manage designated staff and activities specifically relating to academic standards and quality and to provide guidance and direction to senior managers across the School and to the academic community, to ensure that the School’s reputation is protected and that the University is compliant with quality assurance and regulatory frameworks.
Ensuring that the academic results as well as the TNS teaching methodology is being applied to the utmost standards as per TNS requirements. As well as communicating with parents to keep them informed, updated on the progress of their children.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the design and development of the school’s curriculum to be used for teaching delivery in the school year 2023-2024, including but not limited to: overview curriculum, learning pathway, syllabus, assessment approach for each subject
- Build the R&D team including TNS team members to produce the desired results on time
- Study data/documents and available current curriculum to have an overview of the school model, education philosophy and curriculum
- Design template of curriculum framework in details for all subjects from Grade 1 to Grade 12 and provide detailed guidance for TNS’s teacher
- Coordinate with TNS’s Marketing and Admissions Departments to provide outstanding information of the Integrated Curriculum and the other Departments in the implementation of the Integrated Curriculum;
