True North School mentors will meet with parents on November 5th at the workshop “ECA – The Missing Opportunities” to uncover the amazing lost opportunities that extracurricular activities bring:
- How do parents judge the quality of such clubs and extracurricular activities?
- How can students maximize their potential and make the most of the learning possibilities while participating?
For the first time, students from outside the school will be able to “dwell” in a “True North School” club program, complete with talent-oriented mentors and skill challenges. in some of the following clubs’ particular challenges:
- IronTeen: Physical Challenge
- Music Club: Music Challenge
- Debate Club: Debate Challenge
- STEAM Club: STEAM Challenge
- Journalist: The Challenge of Communication
After the challenge, both parents and children will receive feedback, assessments, and orientation from mentors.
