The bright smiles of the students on their first day back, reuniting with friends after a summer apart, and the warm welcome from the teachers and staff created a morning full of energy and excitement.
The ceremony began with an inspiring speech from the Head of School - Mr.Michael Lambert, encouraging and motivating all students and teachers for the new school year. Following the speech was a flag-raising ceremony in the presence of the parents, respecting the Vietnamese original culture.
After all the formal ceremonies was perhaps the most waited session of the morning: the amazing performances from TNISers. These spectacular performances lit up the stage. The small band of 3 teachers: Courtney, Alek, and Alfred delivered an impressive performance, blending piano and violin. Students Kim Minso and Kim Minjae also performed a violin duet of “Waltz” and “Polka,” bringing emotional melodies to the audience. Not only teachers and students, but Mr. Hải Đỗ from the TNIS admissions team also added to the vibrant atmosphere with his rendition of the song “I Am a Star” by Noo Phước Thịnh.
TNIS also organized a special welcome ceremony for the Grade 1 students - the adorable new members of the TNIS family. Along with this was an enthusiastic speech by student Ngô Gia Nghĩa, one of the outstanding students of the 23-24 academic year with numerous international awards, inspiring all students present at the ceremony. In the afternoon, students of all levels, teachers and staff took a school photo, capturing the memorable moments of that day with the powerful slogan "Discover your True North."
Thank you to all the students, parents, and the entire TNIS team for coming together to make this Opening Ceremony a success. Let's look forward to a new school year filled with joy and experiences!
