True North School hosted a thrilling regional Fast Chess Tournament last Sunday, attracting a total of 100 students from various schools across Hanoi.
Notable participants included students from ISPH, Sentia, Vinschool, Concordia, JIS, KISH, St. Mary, St. Paul, Nguyễn Siêu, Archimedes, and a dedicated group of 18 students who drove from Hai Phong to take part in the competition.
The tournament featured seven intense rounds of fast-paced chess matches, showcasing the strategic prowess and quick thinking of the young participants. The age range of the competitors was diverse, with the youngest contestants being just 6 years old and the oldest being 13, highlighting the inclusive nature of the event.
True North School successfully brought together a vibrant and competitive chess community, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among the students. The dedication of the participants, including those who traveled from Hai Phong, added an extra layer of excitement to the tournament, making it a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.
