On an experiential journey titled “Escaping the Past – The TNIS Amazing Race”, bilingual middle school students at TNIS took to the streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter to uncover its rich history through a series of exciting challenges.

Designed as a mini Amazing Race, the field trip guided students through iconic locations such as Đồng Xuân Market, Ngọc Sơn Temple, the Hanoi Opera House, and Hàng Bạc Street. Along the way, they tackled creative, team-based tasks that tested their collaboration skills and ability to communicate effectively in both Vietnamese and English.

After a morning of “racing through history,” students returned to school to bring their reflections to life in the form of scrapbooks and vlogs—capturing the vibrant intersection between tradition and modernity, and expressing their growing love for Hanoi through the simplest, most meaningful moments.
Let’s revisit some of the unforgettable highlights from this special learning adventure in the album below!
