What a trip!

Our MSHS Bilingual students embarked on an inspiring 2-day experiential learning trip to Đền hùng, Phú Thọ, where culture, nature, and community came together to create a meaningful journey. More than just travelling, this trip challenged students to explore, collaborate, and open their hearts to new perspectives.

Throughout the experience, students took part in a variety of enriching activities:

  • Visit to Hùng Kings Temple, learning about the origins of the Vietnamese nation
  • Exploration of Xenia Village, connecting with the culture of the Dao ethnic group
  • “Wise Tea Hill” challenge – knowledge maze & flycam footage
  • Cinnamon harvesting, learning about medicinal plants and forest ecosystems
  • Bamboo weaving, practicing traditional craftsmanship
  • Making Giang leaf cakes, discovering local culinary stories
  • Bee-keeping discovery activity – understanding nature’s balance
  • Green Circle environmental project: painting wooden signs, riverbank cleanup
  • Community service at Thuong Long Primary & Secondary School: English teaching, games, book donations & bookshelf assembly

Through these experiences, students learned to appreciate nature, understand local heritage, cultivate responsibility, and practice kindness. A truly meaningful journey—one that marks another step of growth for TNISers as they learn through experience and connect with the world around them.
