Today, our International Elementary students celebrated International Dot Day, a day inspired by Peter H. Reynolds’ The Dot to honor creativity, courage, and making your mark.
The day was filled with joyful activities across grade levels:
✨Dress Up with Dots: Students showed off their creativity with fun, colorful dot-themed outfits.
✨Storytelling & Art: Grade 5I students read The Dot to Grade 1I, who then created their own beautiful dot-inspired artworks.
✨Read Aloud with the Principal: Ms. Terri Pham shared the story with Grades 2I, 3I, and 4I, sparking inspiration for imagination and self-expression.
✨Fashion Show & Freestyle Dance: In the afternoon, students from all grades walked the runway in their dot-themed costumes and wrapped up the celebration with an energetic freestyle dance alongside their teachers.

DOT DAY at TNIS wasn’t just about dressing up or creating art—it was about giving every student the chance to express themselves, discover new ideas, and celebrate the power of imagination. From a single dot, our students learned that creativity has no limits and that each of them can truly make their mark.
