Stepping into the world of art
The students began their trip with a guided tour, exploring the nine national treasures—priceless artworks that hold immense historical and cultural value. Beyond observation, they delved into the elements of art, including shapes, colors, materials, and the stories behind each masterpiece.

From theory to hands-on experience
After watching a documentary on traditional lacquer painting, the TNIS-ers had the exciting opportunity to create their own Đông Hồ paintings—one of Vietnam’s most iconic folk woodcut prints. Under the theme "Best Wishes for the New Year," they carefully followed each step, from carving and printing to coloring, and proudly took home their own handmade artworks!

This trip was not just an artistic exploration but also an interdisciplinary learning experience, seamlessly integrating science and math concepts in an engaging way. More importantly, as the students are currently learning about informational writing, they practiced describing the step-by-step process of creating Đông Hồ paintings, effectively connecting art with language skills (speaking, writing, and expressing). A truly enriching learning adventure that nurtures creativity and clear communication!
