What a trip to Bát Tràng!

Our Middle School students (Grades 6I, 7I, 8I) enjoyed a vibrant and creative learning journey during their field trip to Bát Tràng Pottery Village last week. From cultural exploration to hands-on crafting, the entire day brought students closer to Vietnamese heritage while encouraging creativity and collaboration.

Highlights of the Experience:

  • Visiting the Bát Tràng Museum, where students learned about the village’s long-standing tradition of pottery making
  • Joining a hands-on pottery workshop to shape, design, and paint their own ceramic pieces
  • Taking on a lively cultural scavenger hunt, exploring historical sites and local artisan spaces
  • Experiencing Vietnamese culture through stories, artifacts, and real-life craft demonstrations
  • Throughout the trip, students not only discovered the beauty of traditional craftsmanship but also practiced patience, teamwork, and artistic expression.

This cultural adventure helped them connect deeper with Vietnamese heritage while unlocking new creative potential — and of course, each student returned with a special ceramic product of their own, a lasting keepsake filled with memories and personal pride.
