POSITION OVERVIEW
A STEAM Teacher overseas teaching, preparing materials, building up curriculum, organizing activities, assessments, or tests, scoring and giving feedback to students. A STEAM Teacher is also responsible for participating in mutual tasks/activities assigned by the Senior Leadership Team, Academic Team, or BOM, contributing to the ideas for general teaching activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Collaborate with Lead/Head of Academic Team in creating plans for team, subject and individual.
- Prepare learning and teaching materials, teaching schedules/plans with specific goals for students with STEAM subject.
- Teach, manage the class and take care of the students during your teaching time.

- VEX IQ
- Scratch Olympiad
- Be the competition coach for STEAM at national and international level competitions including but not limited to:
- World Robot Olympiad
- VEX IQ
- Scratch Olympiad
- Create and organize teaching and learning activities to develop students’ ability.
- Create new learning methods to help students achieve their best results in STEAM subject.
- Assess learning effectiveness, including tests or quizzes for students to adjust the teaching method.
- Complete professional reports required by the Senior Leadership Team;
- Complete professional handbooks according to regulations of the Department of Education and Training.
- Prepare materials and participate in mutual meetings or 1-1 meetings with parents of classes that you teach.
- Be on duty to supervise the students based on the School’s assignment.
- Participate in training sessions by the School and courses to develop teaching skills.
- Build up a respectful, collaborative relationship with parents and students.
- Participate in Schools’ activities, events and projects.
- Support the colleagues in academic activities and other tasks as assigned.
- Other tasks assigned by the Academic Team, BOM or Senior Leadership Team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduated from University, majoring in Sciences, have pedagogical degree.
- More than 1 year of teaching experience in the STEAM area (international school is an advantage), knowledgeable with the new education program.
