The Mid-Autumn Festival at True North was a day filled with creativity, culture, and community spirit!
🌸 Morning Adventure
Our KG, Grade 1, and Grade 2 students from the International track began their celebration with an outdoor learning experience at the traditional Tò He Village in Phú Xuyên, Hà Nội.
There, young learners watched skilled artisans shape colorful toy figurines, received their own set of vibrant colors to create unique pieces, and even brought home special Tò He souvenirs. This hands-on cultural trip offered students a chance to learn by doing—bridging tradition with imagination.
🎉 Afternoon Festivities
In the afternoon, the entire TNIS community—students, parents, and teachers—gathered for a lively Mid-Autumn Festival celebration across the canteen, lobby, and soccer field:
🍇 5-fruit tray decorating contest – where each class showcased their creativity and teamwork.
🦁 Lion dance & performances – from piano solos to energetic dances, the stage was alive with student talent.
🥮 Experience booths – mooncake making, star lantern crafting, mask decorating, traditional games like ô ăn quan, nhảy sạp, and even archery.
📸 Cultural photo corner – families dressed in áo dài, hanbok, and other traditional outfits to capture the festive spirit.
The event was more than a celebration—it was a bridge between cultures, traditions, and generations, reminding us of the importance of togetherness and joy under the autumn moon.
