As we begin to step into the year of 2021, Covid-19 continues to impact irrevocably lives around the world as our beloved country. With the learning experiences from the previous “Tet Covid”, many schools have quickly organized online teaching. However, online learning is not as effective for Kindergarten students.
This has become one of the main concerns for parents who have children preparing to enter first grade. Children are enjoying this endless Tet’s holiday, yet, parents are anxious about the skills his/her child have not learned. While at home, children’s activities are somewhat comfortable and unstructured; thus, children will easily lose their disciplined habits in class.
While at school, children interact with a variety of active activities and spend their time with friends and teachers; however, at home, the numbers of activities children can learn are significantly reduced. Parents worry their child may be exposed to many hours of TV, iPad, Youtube, etc. Therefore, by the time they enter first grade, parents worry their child may develop anxiety or even refuse going to school.
